How it is calculated
ROAS = Revenue from ads / Ad spend Ad cost per revenue dollar = Ad spend / Revenue from ads POAS = (Revenue from ads Γ Gross margin) / Ad spend Net profit from ads = Revenue from ads Γ Gross margin - Ad spend
ROAS divides the revenue attributed to your ads by what you spent on them, so 4.00x means every dollar of ad spend returned four dollars of revenue. Revenue is not profit, so the calculator also applies your gross margin: POAS shows how much profit each ad dollar returned, and net profit from ads is what remains after the ad spend itself.
