How to Get a Shipwire API Key

Shipwire uses a dedicated API user role for third-party integrations. Follow these steps to create an API user and connect Shipwire with Profitario.

Shipwire User Roles#

Shipwire has several user roles: Administrator, Full Access, API, and Customer Service. You need to create a user with the API role.

Steps#

1. Log in to Shipwire as an Administrator.
2. Go to your Account Profile.
3. In the Account Access section, click Add new user.
4. Select the API User role.
5. Enter a placeholder email address and uncheck "Send instructions."
6. Check your email for the Shipwire credentials (Username and Password).
7. In Profitario, go to Settings > Integrations > Shipwire.
8. Paste the Username and Password into the corresponding fields.
9. Click Save to complete the connection.

Profitario will begin importing shipping cost data once the connection is established.
